A Marketing Hit I thought was genius was the lastest LOWE'S commercials highlighting them as being the LOWES'(T) home improvement store. However, I just read that they had over a 30% loss last quarter. I hope not in to relation to their current ad...as I just loved it!
Hi Charity, I agree with you on LOWE'S, LOWE'S(T) commercial. The commercial has gotten me into their door several times, but being the skeptical person that I am, I also often do price comparisons between LOWE'S and Home Depot. (Luckily for me, they are right across the street from each other). Thankfully for me, LOWE'S tends to be the price leader in most cases. In fact, I just bought a drapery rod this past weekend from LOWE'S at 50% off and that's comparing alongside Home Depot and Target. (Stay tuned for my blog entry on Target; a marketing miss).
